DAY 2 IS FINALLY HERE!

Goodness sorry it took a while. I wanted to upload it on saturday night but I was too tired and needed the rest for sunday. >_>;

Magical girlz group. ( Only without Madoka herself )

I went as Homura to go with Wen’s Mami and sakimichan’s Kyoko for first few hours and changed out to Suwako at night because I was getting irritated by the wig (had headaches all day) and the costume was quite hot. OTL” By the time I took out the wig, I had a visible red mark across my head. Maybe because I didn’t put it on properly, but ugh, I don’t want to deal with long wings anymore. SOBBB

Anyway, enjoy the pictures that we took on saturday!

Otakuthon 2011 – Day 1

IT’S DONE !! ( Although quite rushed ) BUT WOOZAH. *Insert Flandre’s theme song here*

Wen, Hanzo and I were late 3 freakin’ hours to Otakuthon just because we were working on the wings till the very last minute. :’DDDD And at the end after the weapon check we still had to make emergency straps using wires to keep the wings in place.

Also major thanks to Suzie, Amy and Amy’s mom for helping me adjust Flandre’s dress (Thank you thank you thank you so much I’m so grateful!). ❤ Also Hanzo for helping me with all the maintenance work, keeping an eye on me throughout the whole con just incase of some accidents – and most importantly all the wiring and lights work. Turns out very nicely and I looove it.

Anime North 2011 – Sunday

Wen as Meltdown Rin from Vocaloid and Sherry as Medicine Melancholy from Touhou

It’s sunday!

Well– I wasn’t actually feeling the con down syndrome thing because it’s almost over, because I was going through that phase on friday. Haha. And the pre-con excitement for me starts around 1 month and half before AN and I could hardly sleep around those times– and when AN arrived, I was just feeling chill, haha.

Anyway, sunday morning was quite frantic for us.

We were struggling to finish packing and putting on cosplay and such before 9AM because everyone insisted on getting the free breakfast thing at the cafe. ( We stayed in DoubleTree ). Most of people didn’t wake up until 8. Hanzo and I woke up around 7 and we barely made it in time because there was so much stuff to pack, including putting on the cosplays and make-up too. Also I didn’t want to miss the Touhou panel. ;-;

Walking to Radisson

At first we thought that the Touhou panel was at the TCC. So by the time we checked out and made it into the cafe it was around 10:20. ( There was a huge lineup for the breakfast thing ). And we rushed over to TCC, and after double checking, we had to run all the way to Radisson. It was a really long walk, ugh.

But anyway, we didn’t take much pictures on sunday because we didn’t actually go to TCC anymore.

The main highlight for sunday is the vocaloid photoshoot.

Anime North 2011 – Friday

Alright, finally updating with some AN report.

We were woken up in the morning by the alarm at 12 and packed up everything, put on cosplay etc until 4 am. Then we drove off to the TCC and got stuck in traffic for a few hours. e_e; That day I was only worried that we wouldn’t make it to the Touhou photoshoot which I’ve been looking forward to for a damn long time. Hanzo is cosplaying as Nitori Mantori, driving a vehicle.. (surprisingly in character?!)

Winnie went as Meltdown(HardRK ver.) Kagamine Rin, and I went as Inubashiri Momiji from Touhou Project. We were surprised to finish everything in time too, and Winnie only figured out how to stick the oversized ribbons on her head and fix the stockings night before AN.

Anime North Thursday

Gunyu?! D-don’t p-poke-

It’s one day before Anime North and I decided to cosplay when picking up the tickets and weapon check our props. C: ( of course I dragged Wen to cosplay with me so I won’t be lonely ) It’s also to test our make-up and such,. so I put in something simple. >_<; But even if it’s simple, it took quite a while to put them all on.

Fireworkin’ Night

With Wen arriving and joining us in Toronto, we decided to do some firework party on Monday! ( Which I believe is on Victoria’s day? ) We had a large group going on, including myself, sakimichan, Wen and Hanzo. It was really quite exciting since there were many other people doing fireworks too. We all pitched in to buy the exploding stuff.
