Finally! It’s time for Siesta Sisters group on friday~
But after we finished it last minute and on the way to the con– we forgot to bring the armbands with us and decided not to paint our legs with the one winged eagle symbol because we ran out of time. >_>
We arrived around 3pm, but oh well, it was all worth it. :”D
I also didn’t take many pictures this time, I handed the camera most of the time to Suzie’s bf and he took the most pictures.

DAY 2 IS FINALLY HERE!
Goodness sorry it took a while. I wanted to upload it on saturday night but I was too tired and needed the rest for sunday. >_>;

I went as Homura to go with Wen’s Mami and sakimichan’s Kyoko for first few hours and changed out to Suwako at night because I was getting irritated by the wig (had headaches all day) and the costume was quite hot. OTL” By the time I took out the wig, I had a visible red mark across my head. Maybe because I didn’t put it on properly, but ugh, I don’t want to deal with long wings anymore. SOBBB

IT’S DONE !! ( Although quite rushed ) BUT WOOZAH. *Insert Flandre’s theme song here*
Wen, Hanzo and I were late 3 freakin’ hours to Otakuthon just because we were working on the wings till the very last minute. :’DDDD And at the end after the weapon check we still had to make emergency straps using wires to keep the wings in place.

Also major thanks to Suzie, Amy and Amy’s mom for helping me adjust Flandre’s dress (Thank you thank you thank you so much I’m so grateful!). ❤ Also Hanzo for helping me with all the maintenance work, keeping an eye on me throughout the whole con just incase of some accidents – and most importantly all the wiring and lights work. Turns out very nicely and I looove it.

Hanzo browsing in dealer’s room again
Yay the final part of Atomic Lollipop is now here! I’m glad that I went there because even though it’s a small con, it has the super friendly atmosphere! I had many many people take their time to compliment my cosplay. C’: Even met a few people and had some long talks with them.
On the other hand, it’s Hanzo’s birthday! Now to celebrate his birthday he went back to the dealer’s room to grab the other Touhou plushie (which is Reimu) to accompany the Marisa which is now hanging in his car.

Anyway it’s more crowded on sunday so I think we got more pictures than before too.

HERP humping Darth Vader @ the conference entrance
So Atomic Lollipop finally happened for the first time and we were so curious to see it because it sounded very different from your usual con ( more music, carnival theme, rides and acrobatics or something ) so we decided to pay a visit.
Remember we were working on Flandre cosplay and there’s also Meiling for Hanzo? We were actually planning to make it to this con with those cosplays but we couldn’t finish it in time. So I was debating whether I should just rewear my Remilia costume or Medicine. Then on that same morning, I checked my closet and I found my Suwako costume untouched and have been sitting there for like at least 8 months. So I thought it’d be a good opportunity to whip up something simple and go together with Hanzo’s Kanako costume.
Though we ended up a bit late because some of the stuff were not complete, such as Pyonta. So we had to go to dollarstore to buy the eyeballs and glue them up. :’D

Toronto Downtown!
Helloooo! : D This is our ( Hanzo and I ) first time attending this cosplay picnic! When I heard about it since last month, I’ve been bugging Hanzo to go together with me to the cosplay picnic, and he finally agreed to go and took his day off!
At first we woke up around 7, thinking we’d be OK time-wise. But I was wrong. D:< After a lot of struggle ( put on Chen costume, make-up, etc ), we ended up leaving the house around 9:20. >_<‘ We were just hoping that there weren’t any traffic.

Then thankfully we arrived around 10:40 and met Q ( nayukim ) when we were about to walk into the place to buy the ticket. :’D Good thing he was there cause I was so afraid. >_< There was only me in bright red costume and since it’s also the Dragon boat festival, there were a lot of people gathered. ( And of course, getting a lot of stares, but somehow I feel more comfortable since we had Q with camera in his hand, and I could hide behind their backs so. : P ) Fortunately we ended up meeting more cosplayers inside!
Oh, Q also introduced us to Imad which is a friend of his! : D He’s also a photographer and tagged along with us. \o/

It’s sunday!
Well– I wasn’t actually feeling the con down syndrome thing because it’s almost over, because I was going through that phase on friday. Haha. And the pre-con excitement for me starts around 1 month and half before AN and I could hardly sleep around those times– and when AN arrived, I was just feeling chill, haha.
Anyway, sunday morning was quite frantic for us.
We were struggling to finish packing and putting on cosplay and such before 9AM because everyone insisted on getting the free breakfast thing at the cafe. ( We stayed in DoubleTree ). Most of people didn’t wake up until 8. Hanzo and I woke up around 7 and we barely made it in time because there was so much stuff to pack, including putting on the cosplays and make-up too. Also I didn’t want to miss the Touhou panel. ;-;

At first we thought that the Touhou panel was at the TCC. So by the time we checked out and made it into the cafe it was around 10:20. ( There was a huge lineup for the breakfast thing ). And we rushed over to TCC, and after double checking, we had to run all the way to Radisson. It was a really long walk, ugh.
But anyway, we didn’t take much pictures on sunday because we didn’t actually go to TCC anymore.
The main highlight for sunday is the vocaloid photoshoot.

Hanzo and I pretty much spent the whole saturday wandering around taking pictures of people and getting pictures taken. I also missed the Vocaloid photoshoot on saturday because I simply didn’t remember where it was at. ;A; I made it to the sunday one though.
We also went to the 404s mature audience show, but left on the “break” time of the show. I liked it, it was funny but they should’ve announced the masquerade winners sometime later. ;_; It was way too late and tiring to listen to the long speech.

Finally a saturday update!
Probably one of the most packed ones too. On that day I went as Momiji (after hours of feet massage by Hanzo) and Chen at night to give a break for my feet. Hanzo also switched to Kanako Yasaka.
After hours and hours of walking– I almost gave up, but suddenly Morning Rescue has appeared!
Umai!

Alright, finally updating with some AN report.
We were woken up in the morning by the alarm at 12 and packed up everything, put on cosplay etc until 4 am. Then we drove off to the TCC and got stuck in traffic for a few hours. e_e; That day I was only worried that we wouldn’t make it to the Touhou photoshoot which I’ve been looking forward to for a damn long time. Hanzo is cosplaying as Nitori Mantori, driving a vehicle.. (surprisingly in character?!)

Winnie went as Meltdown(HardRK ver.) Kagamine Rin, and I went as Inubashiri Momiji from Touhou Project. We were surprised to finish everything in time too, and Winnie only figured out how to stick the oversized ribbons on her head and fix the stockings night before AN.
